I did this lot this evening prior to going away for a week:
1. Mowed the lawn.
2. Cut down (almost) all the broad beans.
3. Planted out dwarf beans, carrots and lettuces.
4. Emptied the large pot of ?pentland something? potatoes
5. Sowed Autumn King 2 carrot in bed (3 rows) and in two pots that recently had potatoes
6. Harvested any tomatoes, peppers, courgettes and cucumbers that were anywhere near being ripe.
7. Gave everything a darned good watering and gave the cucumber grow-bags the inverted water-container treatment.
8. Moved the peppers and cucumbers from the conservatory to the summerhouse.
Over the last few days, M has picked more beetroot and loads of runner beans,
